Multiple updates of phase I and phase II clinical studies of two new tyrosine kinase inhibitors, dasatinib and nilotinib, were presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting. Both drugs are much more potent than Gleevec and active versus cells that are resistant to Gleevec.
