The addition of ZD6474, a novel inhibitor of both endothelial growth factor and vascular endothelial growth factor, to standard docetaxel chemotherapy prolonged the progression-free interval in patients with non-small cell lung cancer, reported John Heymach, at the 2006 annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
