New Potential Ways to Detect Lung Cancer

Two new experimental ways to detect lung cancer were reported at the American Thoracic Society Annual Meeting in San Diego. One involves the differential diagnosis of solitary lung nodules using gene expression ratios, and the other detects lung cancer through the analysis of exhaled breath using a colorimetric sensor array.
