CW January 2006Issue Number 1 January 2006 ISSN 10593802 Exposure to Ultraviolet Radiation from Sunlight and Melanoma RiskUltraviolet B (UVB) radiation, which is stronger than ultraviolet A (UVA), was thought to be strongly associated with melanoma, the deadly skin cancer. In addition, the weaker UVA radiation can also give rise to melanoma.
