Interferon Works Better with Interleukin-12

A natural cancer immunotherapy agent interferon is toxic when used alone. However, researchers find that if it is administered with another biological agent interleukin-12, interferon can be less toxic and a lower dose produces the same level of immune activity as a higher dose when used alone.
