Volume 14Issue Number 12 December 2005 ISSN 10593802 Dasatinib Effective in Imatinib-Resistant CML PatientsOngoing phase II studies confirm the effects of the second generation kinase inhibitor dasatinib in patients with all phases of chronic myeloid leukemia who are resistant or intolerant to imatinib (Gleevec). A study of chronic phase CML patients shows good major hematologic and cytogenetic responses in these pretreated patients.
