Many Smokers Fail to Quit Even after Cancer Diagnosis

Many smokers are unable to quit smoking even after knowing that they have cancer. Smoking can interfere with successful treatment, and reduce quality of life. Studies have demonstrated that cancer patients who discontinue smoking after diagnosis experience an overall better life while getting treatment for cancer.
