MicroRNA -- Potential Therapeutic Tool for Cancer

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a recently identified class of RNAs that were first reported in the roundworm C. elegans in 1993 and are known to be present in many species. Although these RNAs were discovered over a decade ago, researchers have only been investigating their potential function for a couple of years.
