A Tumor Product that Suppresses Immune System

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents such as Celebrex may be effective in boosting the immune function in lung cancer patients by inhibiting an enzyme that synthesizes prostaglandin. The immune system in these patients is compromised by overproduction of prostaglandin that suppresses the immune function.
