In older patients with non-Hodgkin?s Lymphoma (NHL), including those ≥ 70 years old, Yttrium 90 Ibritumomab Tiuxetan (Zevalin, Biogen IDEC, Inc.) is just as effective as it is in younger patients, according to a presentation at the American Society of Clinical Oncology 2005 Annual Meeting. In follicular NHL, having an age > 60 has been seen as a poor prognostic factor.
