Chronic Disease Common Following Childhood Cancers

The risk of having a moderate to severe health problem among adult survivors of childhood cancers treated in the 1970s and 1980s is five times greater than that of their healthy siblings, according to results presented by investigators at the 41st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, held in Orlando Florida from May 14 to May 17, 2005.
