CW May 2005Issue Number 5 May 2005 ISSN 10593802 Meat Consumption Linked to Pancreatic CancerHeavy consumption of red meat and processed meats may increase the risk of pancreatic cancer, according to a multiethnic study. The results suggest that carcinogenic substances related to meat preparation, rather than their inherent fat or cholesterol content, might be responsible for the association.
