Volume 14Issue Number 4 April 2005 ISSN 10593802 FDA Approves Temozolomide to Treat Brain CancerThe US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted approval for TEMODAR® (temozolomide) capsules developed by Schering-Plough Corp., Kenilworth, N.J., for use in combination with radiotherapy for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a form of malignant brain cancer.
