Virtual Colonoscopy as a Screening Tool

Virtual colonoscopy is a new technique that is minimally invasive and uses computed tomographic (CT) images to construct three-dimensional (3D) virtual images of the colon. Though controversial, a recent study shows that virtual colonoscopy can detect flat-lesions and not-flat lesions at the same rate.
