Volume 13Issue Number 10 October 2004 ISSN 10593802 A New Phase I Trial Launched for SymadexXanthus Corporation is launching a phase I trial for Symadex, a new anti-cancer drug based on mitoxantrone. In preliminary studies, Symadex is shown to have less adverse effects on heart muscle and blood cells than that found with mitoxantrone.
