CW September 2004Issue Number 9 September 2004 ISSN 10593802 Questions For the Prostate Cancer SpecialistIn the United States, prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men and the second leading cause of annual cancer deaths, following lung cancer. About one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Fortunately, prostate cancer is a slow-growing form of cancer and is usually responsive to treatment. Together, these specialists can help the patient decide the treatment course that?s best for him.
