Long-Term Survival and Side Effects of Chemotherapy

When choosing a breast cancer treatment, it is important to consider the long-term adverse effect of the regimen. A recent study using two doses of epirubicin, an anthracycline, shows that a regimen containing this agent has a low risk of heart damage in women with breast cancer.
