Virus Suspected to be linked to Aggressive Breast Cancer

Mouse mammary tumor virus sequences have been identified in a large percentage of human breast cancer cells but not in normal tissues in certain parts of the world where some colonies of these mice are infected with the virus. The virus-associated breast cancer is also found to be aggressive.
