Predicting Tamoxifen Resistance Breast Cancer

New studies suggest that mechanisms underlying tamoxifen resistance are inherent to the tumors and do not develop due to the treatment. Therefore, tests could be developed that would predict which patients are tamoxifen resistant so that alternative drugs can be used.
