Immature mRNA Destruction may Influence Disease Condition

A novel ribonuclease destroys the messenger RNA (mRNA) while it is in the middle of decoding the information in the synthesis of a specific protein. This method of mRNA destruction is faster than many other mechanisms that require complex formation with damaged mRNA, certain factors, and enzymes to complete the process.
