Hormone Replacement Therapy after Breast Cancer

Hormone replacement therapy can improve the quality of life for certain menopausal women. However, randomized trials indicate that the risk of breast and ovarian cancers in-crease among women who were on HRT for a long time. The use of HRT among women who had breast cancer is not advisable.
