Neoadjuvant Docetaxel (Taxotere) Boosts Survival in Patients with Locally Advanced Lung Cancer

New findings indicate that neoadjuvant therapy with the taxane docetaxel (Taxotere, Aventis) improves survival over local treatment alone in patients with radically treatable, stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
