Hyperthermia Helps Drug Delivery at Tumor Site

Permeability of tumor vasculature to various sizes of liposome carrying therapeutic agents can be increased by hyperthermia. Tumor and not normal vasculature is specifically affected by this treatment. Thus hyperthermia-aided liposomal drug delivery to tumors will reduce adverse effects on normal tissues.
