Chemicals used in Cosmetics Detected in Breast Tumors

New evidence suggests that certain chemicals present in the underarm cosmetics can be absorbed locally, stimulating growth of breast cancer cells. These chemicals, known as parabens, are estrogenic in nature and were found in the breast tumors of women who used underarm cosmetics.
