CW January 2004Issue Number 1 January 2004 ISSN 10593802 Alemtuzumab Improves Remission Quality in CLLIn patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who are in remission after chemotherapy, alemtuzumab (Campath-1H) improves the quality of remissions, achieving molecular remissions in some cases, according to clinical trial results presented at the 2003 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology. Alemtuzumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody.
