Volume 12Issue Number 12 December 2003 ISSN 10593802 Rituximab Plus CHOP May Become New Standard for Follicular LymphomaA combination of the monoclonal antibody rituximab and standard CHOP chemotherapy significantly improved the time to treatment failure (TTF) in first-line therapy of follicular lymphoma. In a randomized, prospective trial of more than 600 patients, the addition of rituximab to CHOP reduced the risk of relapse by more than 50% after nearly three years follow-up.
