Volume 12Issue Number 12 December 2003 ISSN 10593802 Letrozole Reduces Breast Cancer Recurrence After TamoxifenA trial of the aromatase inhibitor letrozole (Femara, Novartis) given to women with early breast cancer who have completed 5 years of tamoxifen therapy showed letrozole to be effective in reducing breast cancer. Letrozole also had a favorable safety profile.
