However, over the last 15 years, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Consortium has conducted trials by modifying and improving treatment regimens, the results of which are promising. By using multi-agent chemotherapy and cranial radiation, the investigators have achieved an improved survival rate for T-ALL patients, which is not much different from those of B-ALL patients.
