Radiotherapy Dose for Head and Neck Cancer

In the radiotherapy treatment of head and neck cancer patients, researchers have found that by shortening the time between treatments, growth of the tumor can be controlled locally. The same dose of radiation given at six fraction per week instead of five fractions per week benefited the patients.
