CW August 2003Issue Number 8 August 2003 ISSN 10593802 DNA Chips to Screen HPV Infection in Cervical CancerA new DNA typing technique using DNA chips has been applied to identify and determine the types of several human papillomaviruses (HPV?s) in cervical cancer patients and control subjects. This technique enables to detect and genotype several HPV?s simultaneosly. The results show prevalence of high-risk and multiple type HPV infection in cervical cancer patients.
