DNA Chips to Screen HPV Infection in Cervical Cancer

A new DNA typing technique using DNA chips has been applied to identify and determine the types of several human papillomaviruses (HPV?s) in cervical cancer patients and control subjects. This technique enables to detect and genotype several HPV?s simultaneosly. The results show prevalence of high-risk and multiple type HPV infection in cervical cancer patients.
