Intravenous Bisphosphonate Helps Prostate Cancer Bone Loss, Pain Prevention

A potent new intravenous (IV) bisphosphonate can protect prostate cancer patients taking hormone therapy from the loss of bone, a frequent serious drawback of androgen deprivation. Indeed, the use of the bisphosphonate can even augment the men?s bone-mineral density.
