Thalidomide Analogue to Treat Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Revimid™, an analogue of thalidomide that belongs to a group of immunomodulatory drugs, is shown to be effective in treating myelodysplastic syndromes. This blood cell disorder can lead to cancer if not treated.
