Mathematical Oncology

Experimental oncology is a data-generating monster; the over 20,000 papers published yearly only support the fact that there is a wealth of information on innumerable cancer-related alterations in the structure and function of complex macromolecules. Despite the inflationary number of data, tumor biologists do not have a reasonable, comprehensive, or valid theoretical model for understanding and organizing these data.
