Benefits from More Concentrated Faster IGIV Infusion

Administration of intravenous immuno-globulin (IGIV) has therapeutic value for preventing infection in allogeneic bone marrow transplant patients and in those with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The use of higher-dose IGIV infusions given at a faster rate may offer greater efficacy with safety. It may also offer reduced loss of time from work or school at reduced cost.
