Natural Insecticide as Potential Cancer Prevention Agent for Early Stage Lung Cancer

Degulein, a natural plant extract most commonly used as an insecticide, can inhibit growth of precancerous and cancerous lung cancer cells in culture. It inhibits the activation of a key molecule needed for cancerous cell survival. By inhibiting this activation it induces apoptosis.
