Volume 11Issue Number 7 July 2002 ISSN 10593802 COX-2 Inhibitor May Curb Lung CancerThe cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor celecoxib (Celebrex, Pharmacia) may curb lung cancer growth when combined with standard chemotherapy prior to surgery, according to a small, preliminary study reported at the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting in Orlando.
