Volume 11Issue Number 6 June 2002 ISSN 10593802 Best Survival Yet in Advanced Colorectal CancerThe FOLFOX regimen consisting of oxaliplatin with a 48-hour infusion of 5-FU/leucovorin produced the best survival rate yet reported for advanced colorectal cancer. Seemingly high (4.5%) early mortality for the standard irinotecan/5-FU/leucovorin regimen, after analysis, is in line with rates in other trials.
