Magnetic Drug Targeting for Cancer Treatment

Toxic anticancer drugs bound to magnetic particles can be precisely delivered to a tumor by injecting it intra-arterially and then concentrating it with the help of an external magnetic field applied to the tumor site. This method reduces systemic toxicity as well as effective dose.
