Effect of Tamoxifen in BRCA Mutation Carriers

Mutation in BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene increases the risk of developing breast cancer and contralateral cancer after the initial diagnosis. Tamoxifen has been shown to protect against contralateral breast cancer among high-risk women with BRCA mutations.
