Proper Staging of Ovarian Cancers for Better Treatment

Determination of prognostic factors for stage I invasive ovarian cancer in a moderately large sample indicate that patients with well differentiated tumors fair better than those with poorly differentiated tumors. At present, standards established by recognized committees do not include degree of differentiation as prognostic factors in the subclassification of stage I invasive ovarian cancer.
