Melanoma Mysteries

Malignant melanomas are typically hard to treat as they are resistant to apoptosis induced by chemotherapy drugs, despite the presence of a functional p53 gene. Recent studies have shed light on the mysteries of malignant melanomas and identified key molecules that may serve as future drug targets to treat skin cancer.
