Preliminary results from a Cancer and Leukemia Group 3 (CALB 9712) phase II trial demonstrated that two different dosing schedules of rituximab and fludarabine for the treatment of previously untreated patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) proved to be highly active, according to findings from a presentation at the 2001 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology held in San Francisco, CA., on May 12-15, 2001.
