CW April 2002Issue Number 4 April 2002 ISSN 10593802 Survival in Breast CancerNever has there been such a fast and comprehensive level of communication available; access to information in all fields of medicine and to oncology in particular is simple, immediate and affordable. Yet, there are disquieting differences in the quality of health care offered and provided, not only because of the economics involved; in breast cancer, wide variations in treatment strategies are reflected in the morbidity and mortality from this frequent malignancy.
