CW April 2002Issue Number 4 April 2002 ISSN 10593802 Array-Based Differential Diagnosis of CancerPowerful, array-based technology can differentiate subclass of cancer by determining deletion or amplification of certain characteristic genes. This method has been applied in renal cancer model to evaluate its potential application in differential diagnosis. The study demonstrated that automated high throughput techniques to screen the entire genome for abnormality could become a feasible approach in cancer management.
