Specific Types of Benign Growth as Precursors of Some Colon Cancers

New study suggests those sporadic cancers in the right colon that exhibit DNA microsatellite instability may originate from specific types of benign abnormal tissues. This finding could influence the screening for colorectal cancer in the future.
