Neurotransmitter may Promote Brain Tumor Growth

Certain brain cell tumors secretes excess glutamate that could kill nerve cells facilitating expansion of the tumor in the closed system of brain. By inhibiting the death of these nerve cells in the brain tumor growth can be prevented.
