Manipulation of Differentiation Genes to Treat Melanoma

Regaining cell differentiation in malignantly dividing cells can control their abnormal growth. Using adenovirus vector, transfer of mda-7 gene to malignant cells in melanoma inhibits their growth and can be a long-term solution to this fatal condition.
