Measles Vaccines to Treat Cancer

Since productive infection by virus causes cell death, a virus that specifically infects tumor cells could be used as an alternative approach to treat cancer. Scientists show that measles virus can kill lymphoma cells by lysis and may have value as a novel replicating virus therapy for cancer.
